Welcome back to another edition of Insert Caption -- the game that makes beer pong look like a visit to the dentist's office. Last week we asked you to rock our worlds and come up with your funniest caption for a photo from the new movie
Hamlet 2. Needless to say, you delivered all that and then some ...

1.
"Since the school won't teach you the theory of evolution, I have decided to teach it through the wonders of interpretive dance." -- Ryan S.
2.
"...come on you guys I am very clearly a mailbox, I have never seen a group of people so horrible at charades." -- Dana C.
3.
"When hunting rabbits you have to be vewwwy vewwwy quiet!" -- Chris R.
See full image and all captionsThis week we really have something special for you kids going back to school. And when I say school, I mean college. And when I say college, I mean -- BEER PONG! Oh yes, we're not messing around with this one. (
Cinematical is heading back to school in style!) In honor of the new movie
College -- about three almost-freshmen who take a weekend trip to visit a prospective college and wind up in wayyy over their heads -- one grand prize winner will stumble away with a sweet beer pong table. And if you don't know what beer pong is, then, well, how in the world do you not know what beer pong is? Dude! Sound off!
Please note that you must be 21 to enter this particular contest. Read the official rules for the contest right here.

Welcome back to another edition of Insert Caption -- the game where we definitely rock it with sexy Jesus all night long. Last week we asked you to strap in Statham-style and race to be the first one to knock us over with a caption for an image from the flick
Death Race. Congrats to all three of our winners -- your thirst for speed, prison humor and bald men is quite inspiring to us all.

1. "You sank my battleship!!" --
Jason F.2. "Unfortunately, the Death Staring Contest proved unpopular." --
Dan N.3. "In the prisons of the future, its all about survival of the baldest." --
Ben K.See full image and all captionsThis week we're trading in our set of death wheels for a little fun with the theater kids as they rock it out in the new comedy
Hamlet 2. In the flick (which has been getting great buzz for a long time now), the hilarious
Steve Coogan stars as a failed actor-turned-drama teacher who rallies his students around an absurd, politically incorrect staging of, well,
Hamlet 2. The aspirings behind our three favorite captions will prance away with one
Hamlet 2 t-shirt, one
Hamlet 2 wristband, one sexy Jesus action figure, and one
Hamlet 2 car air freshener. I personally have the action figure dancing on my desk as we speak and -- um, yeah -- this Jesus is pretty sexy. (Do I go to hell for saying that?) Sound off below!

Earlier today
Cinematical managed to grab the adorable and hysterical
Anna Faris for a nice, quiet comfy-couch chat about what it's like appearing on the cover of
Playboy Magazine, her new movie
The House Bunny and a ton of other randomness (look for our interview later this week). While speaking with Anna about her upcoming projects, she did tell us a little bit more about the voice work she's doing for
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, based on the popular book by Judi and Rob Barrett. The film follows "a scientist who tries to solve world hunger only to see things go awry as food falls from the sky in abundance."
For Faris this is her first animated movie, and she'll be playing a weather girl who's kind of a tweaked version of her (they've filmed her movements and all that jazz). While speaking to her about it, Faris also revealed that aside from co-star Andy Samberg,
Bill Hader and
Mr. T will have roles in the flick. No word on who or what they'll be playing, though this marks Mr. T's first feature role since
Not Another Teen Movie back in 2001. Ahem, I smell comeback ...
Faris said she's still doing a little work on the film, though most of her stuff is done.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is due in theaters on January 15, 2010. Stay tuned for our interview with my favorite bunny later this week ...

Welcome back to another edition of Insert Caption -- the game where you all race to the death to provide us with the best possible captions for photos from upcoming films. Last week we asked you to steal some of our thunder and shoot us your bestest captions for an image from
Tropic Thunder. Luckily, we managed to choose three winners without staging a protest, and so congrats to you ... and you ... and you.

1. "They knew something had gone very wrong on the set of
Alien 5 when, unexpectedly, Robert Downey Jr. popped out of the soldier's chest." --
Kurt P.2. OK, this might not be the right time to bring this up ... but I'm pretty sure you still owe me for that last trip to IHOP." --
Jeremy C.3."You can be my wing man anytime" --
Mike R.See full image and all captionsThis week we're strapped in and ready to roll out with the ultra serious
Jason Statham (for real, has anyone ever seen this guy smile?), who stars in the new flick
Death Race (in theaters August 22). In the film, Statham stars as an ex-con who's forced by the warden of a prison to compete in a car race where severe road rage and the annihilation of your competitors is recommended. The drivers behind our three favorite captions this week will cruise away with one
Death Race poster, one
Death Race t-shirt, one
Death Race tank top, and one
Death Race hat. I'd tell you to use all that to create your own
Death Race in the comforts of your home ... but something tells me that might not be the greatest idea. Sound off below!

You may not be as attractive as
Penélope Cruz or
Javier Bardem, but apparently you too can experience a threesome with
Scarlett Johansson. On the actress' website (
ScarlettJohansson.com) there's an announcement (seen above) for a contest that begins, "Hey dude(tte) are you UP for a THREESOME WITH SCARLETT!!!?" Obviously it's part of a promotion for Woody Allen's new movie,
Vicky Cristina Barcelona, in which Johansson plays a character
apparently involved in a ménage à trois with characters played by Cruz and Bardem. Oh, and obviously the prize of this contest doesn't involve sex; you merely get to be the third wheel on a movie date, or something. However, if Johansson's beau,
Ryan Reynolds, is the other person, it might be still be interesting. Unfortunately, it's more likely a handler, assistant or otherwise some sort of legally bound chaperon (or is the other person a second winner? I can't make heads or tails of this crazy announcement).
Then again, if Reynolds isn't there, and you're somehow more charming and somehow have sexier abs, this could be your chance to steal Johansson away before she walks down the altar and becomes Mrs. Van Wilder. Actually, you don't even have to wait for the "date" in order to begin the wooing. To win the contest, you have to send an email detailing "your most personal and most creative response as to why YOU WISH to be included in such an awesome treat." Be tactful, though, kids. I know how some of our readers think, and I don't want to hear about any creepy dudes threatening to kidnap Ms. Johansson and bring her to Walt Disney World for a few days together.

Welcome back to another edition of Insert Caption -- the game that brings the tropic thunder and then some! Last week we asked you to strap on a pair of those magical traveling pants and participate in a little caption-ing for a photo from the new flick
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Note to someone: Never include a small group of pretty girls amongst a few large, orange bouncing balls. Why? Well, to our winners ...

1. "Your balls don't scare me." --
Paul P. 2. Suzie, this is an intervention. We understand that you have a problem with oversized polyps, but you can't just leave them all over the living room like this." --
Kurt P.3. "This is what happens to the sisterhood once the pants stop fitting." --
Rifah O.See full image and all captionsThis week, it's raining madness and we're traveling into the heart of the jungle with the boys from
Tropic Thunder -- a film that's absolutely hysterically insane. Ben Stiller directs and stars alongside folks like Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr. (as a black man), Jay Baruchel and Brandon T. Jackson -- all of whom play a group of actors shooting the most expensive war picture of all time. But when the real war comes a little too close for comfort, our pretend soldiers will need to get "in the sh*t" ... for realz. The folks behind our three favorite captions will helicopter away with one very awesome signed

One of the greatest things about
Guy Maddin is that his accomplishments come out of creativity and a spot-on eye, rather than money and flashy technology. Give the man an old camera, a few actors, and some weird props, and he can make a film that's not only engaging, but also visually stunning. He knows how to make the least become the most, and with the release of
My Winnipeg, he's now inspiring others to do the same.
Jam! reports that UK filmmakers are getting a change to get their Maddin on. Both newbie and experienced filmmakers are getting the chance to submit 3-minute odes to their hometown, and Guy says "anything's eligible." Considering the lap-linked Winnipeg, it's not surprising that the doors are wide open...
Anyhow, the online contest is going to give out 1,500 pounds to the winner and a roundtrip flight to ... dum dum dum ... WINNIPEG! Sure, they also get their film screened and included on the UK's DVD release of
My Winnipeg. But who cares when you can head to the snowy wonderland? I'm hoping the winner at least gets to choose the season.
If you want more information, head
here.

Welcome back to another edition of Insert Caption -- that popular online game the whole dysfunctional family can enjoy! Last week, of course, we traveled to Gotham City and asked you fine, dark captioners to give us your best stuff for a photo from this summer's biggest film,
The Dark Knight. Needless to say, you certainly lived up to your end of the bargain -- we received a ginormous amount of entries, and it definitely took some time to pick our three winners. Congrats to you; Gotham is safe once again ... for now.

1. "Hmm ... no, the Joker hasn't accepted my friend request on Facebook either."
Jeremy C.2. Really, Lucious? You can build a car that can practically fly, but you have to call me to get your iTunes off shuffle?

Talladega Nights and
Anchorman. Directed by Adam McKay,

Welcome back to another edition of Insert Caption -- the game that makes us all Bat-crazy every Friday afternoon right here on
Cinematical! Last week we asked you to get your red on with a little Hellboy in honor of the big dude's return to the big screen this weekend in
Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Congrats to our three winners ... and perhaps Guillermo del Toro will use your ideas in the next installment. (Fresca's makin' a comeback!)

1. "Yep, there it is: 'May cause redness and swelling of appendages.'" --
Jordan B.2. "Even Hellboy later admitted that night might be a new record for worst case of 'Beer Goggles'". --
Chaz K.3. "I have to admit, Fresca doesn't really suit my personality." --

The Dark Knight (in theaters July 18). Give us your Gotham best, and you could walk away with one
Dark Knight moleskin journal with Joker card, one
Dark Knight black metal pen, one
Dark Knight ladies' tank, one
Dark Knight bracelet, one
Dark Knight military hat and one
Dark Knight mens' tee. Good luck! And don't forget to check back next week to see who won ... same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.

Hamlet 2 AND take home a bunch of groovy movie merch?
Cinematical is happy to officially launch this
Hamlet 2 Comic Con Contest where ten lucky fans will win a pair of tickets to the aforementioned sneak screening of

This week, we're searching for a little love (and advice) from Guru Pitka (
Mike Myers) in
The Love Guru. Our old friend returns to live-action comedy with this flick about a self-help guru who travels from India to the states to help a star hockey player whose wife left him for a rival athlete. Sound familiar? Have you found yourself in a similar romantic squabble as of late? And are you seeking advice from all the wrong people (like that guy with the wooden leg who keeps asking to square off against you in a game of naked Twister)? Well, look no further my fellow caption-ers, because the three winners from this week will prance away with one

Although Paulo Coelho is one of the world's most translated living authors, his work hasn't exactly littered the big screen. This isn't due to a lack of interest, but rather the writer's reluctance to allow his work to be adapted into film. However, in the wake of projects like the Sarah Michelle Gellar-led Veronika Decides to Die and Eleven Minutes, he's taking on an adaptation his way.
Variety reports that Coelho's spearheading a project to adapt his book, The Witch of Portobello. But he's not looking to sell it to a big studio, or whip up a run-of-the-mill indie production. Instead, he wants to create a fan-made film mash-up.
